Parsley Root /(Petroselinum sativum)

Flat & Curly. Egypt cultivates the flat type. Dehydration of the leaves is either natural (sundried) or mechanical (air drying)

Properties and Uses:
Diuretic, source of minerals and chlorophyll. Parsley is used in cases of difficult urination, dropsy and kidney stones. Combined with echinacea, plantain, uva ursi and marshmallow root, it is a good remedy for kidney and bladder infection. Parsley is also used for arthritic conditions linked to defective kidney elimination.

The seeds are sometimes used as carminatives. The leaves, bruised, are a good application for contusions.
